Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 02 July 2026

These terms apply when you buy downloadable materials from moneytalksathome.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order.

About us

Money Talks at Home is the trading name of Samuel Clifford Arnold, a sole trader. Our contact address is Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA. You can contact us at hello@moneytalksathome.co.uk

These terms, together with the product description and the information shown at checkout, form the contract between you and us.

The product, your order and delivery

We sell downloadable PDF guides and activity materials designed to help parents and carers have conversations with children about money. The product page explains what is included and any important access or compatibility requirements.

A contract is formed when we send your order-confirmation email. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes. Payment is taken at checkout.

The materials are normally available immediately through a download link on the confirmation page or in your confirmation email. You will need a device and software capable of opening PDF files. Please save a copy after downloading. If you cannot access the materials, email hello@moneytalksathome.co.uk

Cancellation and change-of-mind refunds

The materials are supplied as digital content for immediate download. At checkout, you will be asked to consent expressly to supply beginning immediately and to acknowledge that you will lose your 14-day right to cancel once supply begins.

Once supply has begun, you will not be able to cancel the order or receive a refund for a change of mind. This does not affect your rights if the materials are faulty, cannot be accessed, or are not as described.

Your statutory rights

By law, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If the materials do not meet those standards, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement, a price reduction or a refund, depending on the circumstances.

Contact us at hello@moneytalksathome.co.uk if there is a problem. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

How you may use the materials

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-commercial family licence. You may download and store the materials, print a reasonable number of copies for children in your care, and share them privately with a co-parent or carer helping to use them with the same child or children.

Without our written permission, you must not:

  • resell the materials or use them commercially;

  • share them with other households, schools, clients, pupils or groups;

  • upload them to a website, social-media group, shared resource library or file-sharing service; or

  • copy or adapt a substantial part of them for distribution.

We own, or have permission to use, the intellectual property rights in the materials. Buying them does not transfer those rights to you.

Educational information

The materials provide prompts for family discussions on money. They are not personalised financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, and they do not recommend a particular product or provider.

Financial rules and products can change. Check current information from an appropriate official or regulated source and seek qualified advice before making a significant financial decision. A parent, carer or other adult is responsible for adapting the activities to the child using them.

Links to third-party resources are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites or their content.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable losses caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses because the materials are sold only for personal, non-commercial use.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or affects your statutory rights.

Personal information

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please email hello@moneytalksathome.co.uk first, with your order details and a clear description of the problem, and we will try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve a complaint, we will tell you about a relevant alternative dispute resolution provider and whether we agree to use it. You can also seek independent advice about your consumer rights.

Changes, governing law and courts

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version available when you place your order applies to that purchase.

These terms are governed by English law. If you live in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. If you live elsewhere, any mandatory rights you have under local law are unaffected.

General

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. A delay by either of us in enforcing a right does not mean that right has been given up. The contract is between you and us, and no other person has the right to enforce it.
