Who we are

Money Talks at Home is the trading name of Samuel Clifford Arnold, a sole trader. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not normally receive or store your full payment-card details. We do not ask for or require personal information about children in order to sell or deliver the materials.

How and why we use personal information

We use personal information only where we have a lawful reason to do so:

  • to process your order, provide the download and respond to purchase-related queries - because this is necessary to perform our contract with you;

  • to respond to enquiries before purchase - to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;

  • to keep accounting, tax and transaction records and comply with consumer-law duties - because we have legal obligations;

  • to gather and act on feedback about our materials so that we can improve them - for our legitimate interests, where these are not overridden by your rights;

  • to protect the website, prevent fraud, diagnose faults, manage complaints and operate the business effectively - for our legitimate interests, where these are not overridden by your rights; and

  • to send marketing or use optional analytics or marketing cookies - where you have consented, or where electronic-marketing law otherwise permits us to contact an existing customer about similar products.

You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Where information is needed to complete an order, we cannot supply the product without it. We do not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only where needed with service providers that support the website and our sales, such as website hosting and ecommerce providers, payment processors, email and download-delivery services, customer-support tools, and analytics or marketing providers where used. We may also share information with accountants, professional advisers, regulators, courts or public authorities where reasonably necessary or required by law.

We do not sell personal information. Where a service provider processes information on our behalf, it must do so under appropriate data-protection obligations.   • marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or we stop the relevant marketing activity; we may retain a minimal suppression record so that we continue to respect your opt-out; and

  • website and cookie information is kept for the periods shown in the website's cookie settings or for as long as needed for security and fault diagnosis.
